Voice & Data Inventory

  • Inventory of all voice, contact center and data network systems
  • Inventory of all network services and expenses including all related billing and/or circuit information
  • Identify all system and network vendors including key contact information
  • Review all contracts for all systems and networks
  • Inventory and layout of MDF, IDF Closets and Data Room

Needs Analysis & Discovery Process

  • Conduct interviews with key departments or groups to identify existing communication problems or needs
  • Conduct a “discovery process” to determine possible current & future systems or applications in order to improve efficiency and/or reduce costs
  • Interviews with executive management so as to gain an understanding of short and long term business strategies so that these requirements are technologically aligned with the business plans

Technology Assessment

  • Conduct Assessment of all voice / data systems and networks
  • Review existing Disaster Avoidance & Recovery plans
  • Identify short term & strategic business initiatives so as to determine if existing technologies meet business objectives
  • Identify functional and financial technology risks and roadblocks while trying to protect current investments
  • Interview key personnel and departments to uncover voice and data communications problems or requirements
  • Define communication needs that can be addressed in a cost efficient manner with ancillary systems and network design modifications

Strategic Technology Plan

  • Develop a short-term and long-term comprehensive technology plan necessary to meet the business needs
  • As part of the Strategic Plan, provide a Gap, Risk and Impact Analysis
  • Prepare a breakout, by specific time period, that lists the necessary action items along with budgetary costs, business benefits, priorities and savings / cost avoidance
