Voice System Consulting Services
- Conduct needs analysis to determine departmental functions (e.g., HR requirements, Contact Center operations, etc.), voice system requirements, existing telecommunications problems, multi-site integration and long term Technology Strategic Plans
- Voice system consultants conduct assessment of all existing voice systems, data networks, related infrastructure items (e.g., wiring plans, MDF & IDF closets, PoE, data room layout / racks, power and system, network & power redundancy / failover)
- Develop voice system specifications for new Internet Protocol Telephony (IPT) voice systems, premise-based or cloud-based, including Unified Messaging, Unified Communications, Mobility, Contact Center and System Wireless
- Prepare & distribute network RFP/RFQ, analyze & compare bids, assist with contract negotiations and project manage telecommunications implementation
- Voice system consultants assist with voice & data network assessment (e.g., PoE, MPLS, PRI, SIP, QOS, etc.) to support VoIP for the IPT voice system over the LAN or WAN
- Manage & coordinate implementation of all IPT voice systems and applications with all appropriate vendors including the providers for local & long distance PRI & SIP circuits, SONET interface, MPLS and Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)
